“Art is a love language.”

Our story

My name is Nisi V Vonina. I grew up in Madagascar, where, as a little boy, I was fascinated by traditional artworks made by local artists in my village; one of those local artists was my own father, who, at that time, was painting in the streets. Years later, I moved to the United States to pursue my degree in Fine Arts as I developed a passion for paintings, photography, storytelling and, also, philosophy. Now, I feel confident to share my artworks with the world, even though I am still learning and developing my skills.

The other artist who is with me in Valih Art is none other than my own father, Zoky Lanto Vonina.

Back in the 90’s, Zoky Lanto went to a school of Fine Arts, where he primarily majored in the art of painting and sculpture. For more than thirty years, he has been exploring and developing new styles, to the point now where he has his own style. Other than painting and sculpture, he also mastered the art of Pyrography.

Art has been our family business for years and has been passed down from generation to generation. From moulding aluminium to make figurines, sculptures, drawings and paintings, our family has been sharing our talents and products with the world.

We enjoy exploring new styles, whether influenced by culture, era, or a personal request from you.

Original and handmade

All of the artworks that we share on this site are our own original artworks.

From our hearts, to your home.
